Venice Mural

My home was included on the Historical House Christmas Tour several years ago in our little Colonial era town, and the murals all over my house were featured, and were quite popular. I have a bunch in my house - the largest covers the wall in my kitchen and is a scene of Venice.

The picture I have submitted is the scene of Venice I painted in my kitchen. It's a view down the Grand Canal with the Rialto Bridge. I've never been there but always wished to be so I just look at my kitchen wall and pretend I'm looking out the window of my room in Venice, with my glass of wine sitting on the sill.
